The director calls Pan’s Labyrinth the spiritual sequel to <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0256009/combined" rel="nofollow"><strong>El espinazo del diablo</strong></a> (<strong>The Devil's Backbone</strong>) Being a Tim Burton fan, I feel the art direction has a strong resemblance to Sleepy Hollow.
